Small-minded? Ill-informed?? I very much object to those phrases; you obviously don't know what I have been or done in my life - so just to let you know, I have been (in no particular order)- engineer, metallurgist, museum curator (twice), broadcaster, medical librarian, textile technologist, aviation professional, etc etc. I am also currently on the main Board of a Registered Charity (with international reach) I suggest that an apology might be in order.

For this exceedingly ancient fan (I saw the Rams promoted out of the old 3rd Division North) it was a very poignant day. From the depths of the North Stand it was - magnificent! Wrexham? Who needs Wrexham? The deep history of the club and its achievements deserve a bigger and better TV series! I might not see Derby get back to where they belong - but many on this forum will !

Like Bob, I moved to the US (for 23 years). Now I am back in the UK, but ill health and distance mean that I have to pick and choose the games I can attend. The last game I saw was vs Port Vale; I have my ticket for the Carlisle game! Btw, the first game I saw was in the old 3rd Division North, at the Baseball Ground, against Grimsby - we lost, 3-1 (they went up as Champions). We won the Division the next season!
