Mini-iykwim Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 Abit of an itk with this... 1) the board extended miles contract not Nigel. 2) Nigel wanted miles out the club since he started (and I do know he had made that clear to miles from the off), 3) there were 3 offers from championship clubs.. One of which was forest.. but bournmouth were seen as a new challenge, offered to make him captain and offered a pretty good wage packet aswell... Personally I think that miles has wanted to leave to get away from Nigel, it sounds like not many of the previous regime like him either... I wish him all the best tho... All we did for that is send him to specialists in this country who said its a common injury but hea gotta play through it. I followed his progress at barnsley... It seemed like he kept getting niggling injuries that kept him from getting a run going untill then end... But towards the end he seemed to pick up... I could of seen him getting back to his est for derby for anybody except cloughy... He didn't even speak to miles for the last year (loans and preloans period) he did it with a few other players aswell (still doing it now) never been a fan of cloughy.. Probz never will be...
