Carl Sagan Posted October 22, 2020 Share Posted October 22, 2020 Love this video of the NASA probe touching down (briefly) on near-Earth asteroid to collect samples to bring back to Earth: The spacecraft fired a jet of gas into the gravel-like asteroid on contact, to disturb the top layer and let it collect some bits.
