Savage reminds me of C.Ronaldo in his first year or two (except without talent). Sure, he gives 100% but his 100% is akin to most players 60%, he's always a step behind the pace and my respect completely dropped through the floor for him after the Coventry game. I get the effort thing but no way are they our best players, Commons, Bywater, Leacock, Barker, Hulse....etc. are all better players than those two put together. If the rest of the squad but the same amount of effort in as Savage and Dickov wouldn't get near the first team, although effort can only take you so far, just ask Tito Villa.
