MattyTheRam
http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1792_5694300,00.html Derby defender Shaun Barker hopes the Rams can take advantage of the international break to get some of their injured players back. Nigel Clough has not been able to count on a full squad this season, but players are slowly coming back to full fitness. And Barker hopes that by the time they travel to in-form Swansea on November 20 they will be nearly back at full strength as they aim to push back up the Championship table. He said: "Hopefully after the international break we'll have five or six big first-team players coming back into the frame, which will obviously make the squad and the team a lot stronger. "I think we've only had a choice of picking from about 13 players every week so to have an extra seven or eight lads pushing will be a big boost. "It's going to be exciting when everyone is back and we believe that if we keep ourselves above water while this is happening, as soon as everyone is fully fit and settled in again we can push on up the league." vicky-27
I hate international breaks - but i guess it's good for us right now - Barker said he will be a better player when he has a settled centre-half - that's the trouble with all the injuries so far we havn't got a settled team, when we get one (fingers crossed) we should start to look like a proper team.
