Dangerous
3 teams have refused to don a poppy on their kits this weekend.Bolton,Man utd and suprise suprise...liverpool. Teams playing in red have no argument.Arsenal have done it and it looks good.Bolton, god knows why they arent doing it,same as for man u.Liverpool only feel sorry for people who support liverpool so im not suprised. All 3 clubs should hang their heads in shame.
Day
Read about that earlier, Bolton refused to issue a statment, Man Utd claim they already do enough work for the British Legion and Liverpool have made plans for a poppy in the centre of the pitch. I don't see what the problem is with sticking a poppy on 18 shirts and auctioning them off the same as every other club.
vicky-27
Shamefull ! glad they have been named and shamed. We were first anyway - no mention of us !
Perky1106
Even if contributions are already made to the British legion, poppies should still be worn. It's just respectful and traditional. Then auction the shirts with profits going to the British legion.
Kris Marina
Disrespectful *******. Very surprised at Bolton but what do you expect with an ex Red in charge? If it wasn't for those who the poppy represents we would be German. I hope that **** who pissed on a War memorial gets life as well
