Season so far my take on it

Bolton away, 0-0 bad injuries opening point - ok

pompy away  lost 2-1 cup game we were poor - early days

charton home, 1-1 we were disjointed they weren't 

Middlesbrough home 1-1 more midfield injuries they should have gone for the throat didn't we grab a good point

birmingham away 1-1 wide open first half, second half bucket load of chances should of won by a mile

leeds home lost 1-2 Leeds all over us first half, second half we come back we get level should have won it, lost it.

preston away won 1-2 we go in front do well first win

reading away won 0-1 great result against 10 men mainly, but average game

burnley home 0-0 boring no one really tried to win just not to lose

mk dons away won 1-3 we were rubbish really lucky to win

Brentford home won 2-0 scored early nice win

wolves home won 4-2 we were good going forward their defence not so

blackburn away 0-0 dour but an away point

hudderfield away 1-2 win, did enough for the points 

Rotherham home won 3-0 they were poor

qpr home 1-0 best result at home this season we had to really work for the win but lost key defender for the season

forest away lost 1-0 early goal did we look like we tried to get into the game poor result/ performance 

cardiff home won 2-0 enough done for the points

hull away won 2-0 best team performance all season

sheff Wednesday away 0-0 dour nearly snatched it, as they say good point

brighton home 2-2 unbeaten they were but we were outdone when they counter attacked in numbers

bristol city won 4-0 they were woefull fielding gave us at least two goals but you can only take the points

lpswich away won 0-1 good result in an even game at a place we historically struggle

fulham home won 2-0 could easily have lost 0-2 if they put their chances in

leeds away 2-2 away point always welcome but should have won

middlesbrough away lost 2-0 now this should have finished a boring turgid 0-0 against top of the league disappointed!

fa cup Hartlepool away won 1-2 apparent second team played

reading home 1-1 brilliant point as we were awful or are reading just good every year at Derby 

Birmingham home lost 0-3 even poor first half got battered second half, teams are starting to look at Derby and thinking we can do these

burnley away lost 4-1 but bizarre result! but we looked better, not hard. I have a nagging feeling we may be playing these in the play offs hopefully we destroy them by then as per Brighton in 2014 (I can hope)

fa cup Man U lost 1-3 at home but we never tried to beat them

all in all we had some unluckily goals go in against us this season but when we do go behind it is a major struggle to get anything in a game. This season I don't see any outstanding attacking teams, hull burnley and Middlesbrough are very solid and similar to us in many respects but if our players turn the switch on we could very easily climb the league but our lack adventure to take the lead in a lot of games seems to be costing points and confidence in both players and supporters.

lets just turn the switch on before it gets very dim and murky.
