Defamation and Libel posts on DCFC Fans

This afternoon I have received an email from a solicitor representing Mel Morris regarding false allegations made on this forum that were seen as defamatory to Mr Morris.

I would first like to publicly apologise to Mel Morris for comments made on this forum that were not removed by myself or our moderators.

The posts have now been removed and the poster banned with immediate effect.

I would also ask members to refrain from discussing this topic and what the posts may have been on the forum, any members found doing so will also be banned immediately. 

Can I remind all members that you are all personally responsible for your posts made on dcfcfans.uk and to refrain from making any posts that can be seen as defamatory not just to the club, owners, players, staff and anyone connected to the club.

We take this matter very seriously and will also ban any members found doing so immediately without warning.
