If you don't like Sydney, there are pleny of other decent spots to go to. Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide are out of the jungle and not ridiculously humid like Cairns. I fell in love with the Sunshine Coast, the likes of Maroochydore and Maloolooba were paradise places for me. But after all that, I'm now State side and love it here too. I wouldn't go back and live in the UK (If I had to stay there and work) even if someone paid me $10 million. In fact, I would rather die than live in the UK with my basic skillset.
