We have no cover for him , hope he plays every game , but if he gets crocked ?. Oh, I see. I thought I had missed him getting injured and panicked. Think Bennett is possibly our most natural like-for-like replacement, so I was a bit disappointed to see him off with the U21s again, but at least he bagged two goals. And Russell may be able to play there. But, while we have no truly equivalent cover, I don't see it as a huge problem in that if anything happened to Martin, we'd bring in a Premier League loan. I'm sure there's a list of who we want and once the season's underway we're likely to be sounding out teams about their strikers who aren't playing, in case we need to make a quick move for one.
