derbydan
Sheffield United have suspended Paddy Kenny for failing a drugs test, BBC Radio Sheffield reports. Kenny tested positive for a banned substance, ephedrine, following last season's Championship play-off semi-final second leg against Preston. Ephedrine is believed to be present in a cough mixture that the Republic of Ireland international is understood to have bought over the counter. The 31-year-old goalkeeper could face a lengthy ban. The club, the Football Association and UK Sport have so far refused to comment over the matter.
vicky-27
Beat me to it Dan - just reading that story - it says in one report it was over the counter cough medicine he bought, the whole drugs ban list is a minefield - with the rules being so tough why don't they get their medicines through the club doctor ?
