And they have the money we are after for him?

Doubt it.

DERBY County and Brighton are in talks over striker Liam Dickinson, according to the player’s agent.

A number of clubs are interested in Dickinson and the 23-year-old looks to be heading out of Pride Park only a year after arriving from Stockport County in a £750,000 deal.

Dickinson’s representative, Phil Sproson, said: "There is a strong interest from Brighton in Liam and talks are ongoing.

"The two clubs are trying to agree a fee and I don’t think they are too far apart.

“Liam wants to be playing regular first team football and he knows his chances at Derby will be limited, so he is hoping a deal can be agreed with Brighton

Out-of-favour Derby County striker Liam Dickinson is in talks with League One side Brighton about a permanent move, reports BBC Radio Derby. The clubs have agreed a deal, which is believed to be around £100,000, and the transfer is expected to be completed later in the week.

Clough told BBC Radio Derby: "We have agreed a fee and he is talking terms."

Dickinson, 23, has not made a first-team appearance for the Rams since joining for £750,000 in July 2008.

The former Stockport County forward has spent time on loan at Huddersfield, Blackpool and Leeds and has been told he is not part of Nigel Clough's plans for the new season.

Mmmmm so he's not the player we are offering to Blackpool then
