RamNut Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 I think if you read the book by Don Shaw you see that too ... even one of his best mates found Clough unstable and unpredictable. He had a drink problem allegedly even then. Clough couldnt have carried on the way he was but I think Longson and Kirkland senior could have handled it a whole lot better. Yes...i have read that. But i really like the video of Cloughie - possibly when he received the freedom of the city - when he said that at Derby we worked for some lovely people, some of the best people we ever worked for, until we fell out over silly things....pride on his part, and pride on mine.
