David
Pointless friendly although below is the squad for the game, nice to see Carlton Cole make the squad, shows your not picked on on your name but on form under Capello. Goalkeepers: Green (West Ham), Hart (Man City), James (Portsmouth). Defenders: Bridge (Man City), A Cole (Chelsea), R Ferdinand (Man Utd), Jagielka (Everton), G Johnson (Portsmouth), Terry (Chelsea), Upson (West Ham), L Young (Villa). Midfielders: Beckham (LA Galaxy), Barry (Villa), Carrick (Man Utd), Downing (Middlesbrough), Lampard (Chelsea), Milner (Villa), Wright-Phillips (Man City), A Young (Villa). Forwards: Agbonlahor (Villa), C Cole (West Ham), Crouch (Portsmouth), Heskey (Villa).

Why hasn't he picked Rob Hulse then? Should be an interesting match this. I predict Spain 2-1 England.
M.M
If Beckham plays he'll equal the record for getting England caps (108). I hope he does beat the record, he's always tried his best and is one of few England players to play with pride and passion when playing for the national side

David
Prefer to see Ferdinand on aswell as Carrick, maybe picking up a hammy each, nothing to serious just enough to be out for at least 2 weeks.
gawa_ram
I'd go with Thornhill's team but have Downing on the left and Young on the right instead of SWP. Never thought I'd say that in my life but Downing really impressed against Germany last time out. Also won't expect to see Joe Hart in many squads after a while - he's unlucky to have Given in front of him now at Citeh when really it's the shambles in front of him that has been at fault for the goals they've conceded. Interesting article in FourFourTwo this month - Gareth Barry is only player to have played every single match under Capello.
