Day
Watford have confirmed the appointment of Malky Mackay as their new manager. Mackay has signed a three-year contract at Vicarage Road and steps into the void created by Brendan Rodgers' recent departure for Reading. The 37-year-old has been part of the backroom team with the Hornets since the 2006/07 season, having initially joined the club as a player in August 2005. Former Scotland international defender Mackay is taking his first steps into club management but is confident he has amassed the skills required to be a success.
