Day Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 AN OAP was quizzed by cops after storing her dead mother's body in her FREEZER for up to 20 YEARS, it was revealed today. Cops questioned Daulat Irani, 83, after the grisly discovery at a house in Sidcup, South East London. They were said to have found the corpse wrapped in a black bin bag in a large freezer at the property. Reports suggest that Mrs Irani kept her mother's body hidden because she was SCARED of an immigration inquiry. The body was formally identified yesterday as that of Mrs Irani's mother - Gulbai Freedoon Murzan - who was born in 1901. Officers said she could have been dead for up to 20 years. Post-mortem examination results are expected later this week. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained rather than suspicious, the Metropolitan Police said.
