Dubai-based billionaire Sulaiman Al-Fahim is close to sealing a takeover at Fratton Park after having an offer accepted by the club, who had been expected to hand interim boss Paul Hart an extended contract. However, Sky Sports News understands the prospective Pompey owner could target a move for former England manager Eriksson. Eriksson is currently without a job after parting company with Mexico in April and his agent, Athole Still, has admitted the project on the South Coast would appeal.
