  1. Wasn’t it just! Lovely play to get him running through on goal, huge tackle from the defender.
  2. Come on! NML drills a cross along the 6 yard box and the defender puts it in his own net as Fornah was arriving behind him
  3. We must be high up there for overall corner count in the league this season, and probably very low down for the number resulting in goals 😞
  4. Smith down with an injury, from the replay of the incident a few mins back there wasn’t much contact was done as he hooked his leg round the ball so might be something serious with his knee. EDIT - Smith walks off replaced by Fornah and Wilson on for Barkhuizen.
  5. Getting towards 60 mins, need some changes, Ward and Wilson warming up according to Ramstv
  6. Game opening up a bit, lovely ball by Barkhuizen to pick out a good run by Smith into the right hand channel, Smith pulls the ball back but no Rams player arriving in the box.
  7. Yeah, frustrating when according to Owen’s commentary we had a good opportunity involving NML
  8. Started the second half poorly, given them too much time, space and possession. Need some changes please Mr Warne
  9. Aye, it’s my main frustration with him. This is crying out for a subtle change to our shape and personnel then they’re there to be beaten, will he see that and make it happen….not sure 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. It’s down to poor execution as far as I’m concerned, Hourihane attempted a nice through ball for Collins earlier and seemed to forget he hasn’t got the pace of a younger more mobile striker meaning the defender got to it first. Suppose that’s a “six of one” type scenario with Collins lack of pace also an issue.
  11. I don’t think it’s been that bad, just not good either….all a bit meh, they ended the half in the ascendancy for sure. Needs to change the midfield, Smith off maybe for Fornah or go 4-4-2/4-2-4 and stick Bird deeper with Hourihane then partner Waghorn with Collins
  12. Seemed to be some faint boos at half time, or am I hearing things? I’m already pretty much talking to myself 🤪
  13. Rovers hit the post with a shot from range, Wildsmith possibly saved it? We don’t quite look at it, but time and opportunity to improve with options on the bench. Think the midfield needs changing.
  14. Partly why I wondered about switching Hourihane and Smith, it needs someone with a bit of guile and a shot playing “between the lines” to give them something else to think about
  15. Lovely moment with the round of applause and a nice touch on commentary from @Owen87ITK to talk B4 up 😢 👏 👏 🐏
  16. Brizzle seem content to sit in and let us have the ball then break forward quickly. We’re playing it wide with the occasional attempt to play through them also. We also seem a bit wobbly at the back today, missing Forsyth’s calming presence maybe? 🤔 Would rather see Smith and Hourihane switched I think, at the minute Hourihane is sitting deep with Smith playing ahead of him but Smith isn’t offering enough in an attacking sense.
  17. Like that! Cross field ball into the left channel finds NML who plays in Bird with a lovely touch, Bird arriving into the box like we’ve seen recently gets a cross away along the 6 yard line which is cut out before it gets to Collins, Sibley then drills it back across goal but it doesn’t get to a white shirt nor shinned in by a Brizzle leg. Good stuff though!
  18. I think Sibley being deeper with his range of passing is potentially a good thing, there’s been a couple of almost moments down the left that with better control or composure would have resulted in a chance. Hopefully the lads find their touch and shooting boots soon.
  19. Nice build up between NML and Sibley gets Sibley in space down the left but he gets his cross wrong and it goes over the bar. Promising signs in a way. Bristol already time wasting and being a bit rough, we need to make one of these set pieces count
  20. Foot race between Cashin and Martin over 6 yards then! Rapid
  21. Kick off was 3pm, both teams passing it about at the back but not much of note in an attacking sense. Their best moment resulted from hesitant defending and a shot was blocked in the area then cleared, ours was probably a Cashin header from a Hourihane corner that was well saved a couple of mins back.
  22. Really? I thought first few mins there was some decent passing and movement, looking to play out from the back. They have just had the better of it the last couple of mins though
