I maybe mistaken but cant recall players doing laps of honour in those days, but as i say i maybe mistaken.

I think the players in 1996 went in the directors box with jim and lionel not round the pitch, to many fans on the pitch. The directors box was very close to the pitch there.

Fair enough if the players and their families have done their lap thanking the fans.

🤣 I do save all my coins ive left over at the end of each week for my season ticket though. Soon mounts up.🤣😂

Let the team do their walk round the pitch with their families then go off,then the fans that want to party on the pitch can do so then.

So my 5 year old grandson cant enjoy watching his heros di a lap of honour then, so everyone cant enjoy it like you say. Seems in todays world people just think of themselves.

A lot longer than 5 mins though, when we went up with the bald eagle the fans never left the pitch.

They dont accept cash anymore either.🤣😂

Forgot about that🤣. Pandemic, disscussing all the old pubs and places all knocked down now, yea all the young ones not happy.🤣😂. Better shut up about old derby, getting told off again😉

I know, but i hadnt got a mobile then and they still havnt got my mobile number because im still on a landline as well.

Get too much rubbish on e mail as it is, dont bother opening most of it. Always go to ticket office for my tickets( although i know thats not possible for a lot of fans) love talking to the other fans while waiting. No face to face contact with other people when everything done over the internet, suppose im just old fashioned, but i love chatting.🤣😂

Its for my kids to have a good time when ive gone🤣😂🤣

They didnt bother with fan ID when i first got my season ticket and when we moved to Pride Park. They have got all my details other than that, never really felt the need to give it them. Used to contact us by phone years ago, especially if you were late renewing, asking why not renewing🤣

And all the kids waiting in the stands to see their team to walk round the pitch, do they not count?

Just looked on website and says all season ticket holders will be contacted by the club about discounts etc. Does not mention only by e mail. There must be a lot of older fans without e mail, dosnt bother me cause i look on the website but some dont.

Knew when the last day for sales was and i go to the ticket office, but not till the last week. Never have renewed till the last week, like to keep hold of my money as long as i can🤣

They havnt got my email address.

The good thing about all seater stadiums is that you dont have to get there early after carrying the kids milk crates down cambridge street.🤣
