I think the "football romantics" amongst us thought he was worth a risk whereas the more pragmatic thought the risk was too high - seems they were right. He's played two games for Cardiff since signing and is now out for at least 2 months: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/cardiff_city/9352031.stm It's a real shame for the lad.
