Research on our everyday use of electronic devices

Thanks to those who took part in an earlier version of some university research I am involved in that is looking at how we conduct our everyday relationships through smartphones, computers, tablets and other electronic devices. I have now moved on to a second phase of questions and I hope you can spare a few minutes to share your important views.

Thanks in advance.

Blokes use electric drills, toasters, and kettles.

women use hoovers, hair-dryers, food processors, irons, lawnmowers, and vibrators.

I have had this debate with many of my peers and I have come to the conclusion that the rise in depression is in no doubt linked to online behaviour, now we have to differentiate if this is due to the solitary lifestyle, constant news or the removal of melatonin through blue light radiation through screens and thus reducing quality of sleep?

I wish the government funded research into this ?
