Cars with engines running stolen Three vehicles left with their engines running to warm up on a frosty morning have been stolen from outside their owners' homes in Essex. The thefts all took place within an hour of each earlier, police said. A Ford Galaxy was taken from a drive in Chelmsford, a Peugeot and a Toyota from outside two houses in Ingatestone. Two cars were later recovered and police are examining them forensically in a bid to track down the thieves. The search is continuing for the third one. Essex police are now warning drivers not to leave their vehicles unattended with the keys still inside or the engines running. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
