Sparkle
From a season point of view we have had very few penalties awarded due to a variety of reasons namely that we haven't had many players in the box from open play this season (up until recently) especially those moving quickly! Referees have either missed decisions or didn't trust what they have seen, Burnley this season and Bournmouth last season have had fast forwards who weren't carrying a Martin type of reputation in officials minds? PistoldPete2
We have some very tricky players like russell, ince and christie. So it's not just refs not giving decisions to martin. Two penos all season is just ridiculous for a team like Derby. We should have had 8 or 9. I didn't see the thorne injury so I really don't know what happened. But the still photo does look bad. The foul on russell was at least as much of a pen as keoghs.

Sith Happens
The thorne one definately a penalty, but in a way im glad it didnt get given, can you imagine someone having to step forward and take it after that? I certainly wouldnt have wanted to celebrate a goal.
