Day Posted August 30, 2009 Share Posted August 30, 2009 Jake Livermore will remain with Derby County until January 1st, after Tottenham Hotspur agreed to extend the loan deal. The 19 year old midfielder has impressed since joining the Rams from the North London club, starting the last two Championship matches against Plymouth Argyle and Nottingham Forest. Nigel Clough says he is delighted to have extended the deal: "Jake has fitted in well and we are delighted to have secured him until the end of the year. "Obviously he's only had the opportunity to play in two matches so far, but he's performed admirably in both those games. "He is a strong boy and a good character that is hungry to do well and make a name for himself; we are giving him that opportunity here. "We would like to thank Harry (Redknapp) and his staff for letting Jake stay until the turn of the year."
