Sean Barker and Dean Leacock handed Derby County a welcome fitness boost this afternoon.

Both players got minutes under their belt in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Notts County at Moor Farm this afternoon, which ended 1-1.

The duo missed the opening game of the season against Peterborough United due to injury but were on the bench in last night's Carling Cup defeat at Rotherham United.

Jordan Stewart opened the scoring with a long range strike but County - watched by their new Director of Football Sven-Goran Eriksson - levelled before the break.

Barker and Leacock looked to suffer no reaction to their injuries and should be in the squad to face Ssausagehorpe United this weekend.
