The Irish forward has been chased for weeks by Nigel Clough and now Latics are set to give him permission to speak. Ambitious Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 Im not going to write off any player that comes here, especially a striker we knew with the money available it was going to be a gamble, obviously Clough really wants him and 1million for a striker is naff all, you want a proven goalscorer for a million, you have to look towards league 2/non league like tyrone barnett - 1.25million or Vardy for 1million!!
