Stupid council Health and safety rules means the game will stop at 11 and they won't come back till Monday.

AARGH! It's not 'elf & safety, it's to do with the planning permission - so the locals aren't disturbed all night, and so people can get home before the tubes all stop running.

Ferrer is one of the best all-rounder tennis player ever not to win a major tournament...

The guy is a sublime tennis player and especially on Clay.. If it wasn't for Nadal beating him in the semi-final he would have won that..

Murray is easily the best hard-court player not to win a major.. The Australian and US Open are realistically the only 2 he can win, as on clay and on grass he isn't even a top 6 player IMO.. But on hard-court he's really good, better than Nadal IMO

Grass court - Djokovic/Federer/Nadal are all as good as eachother and this is a big chance for Feds to win another tournament

Clay - Nadal then Ferrer then Djokovic then Feds

Hard-Court - Djokovic then Murray then Feds/Nadal are equally as good with Ferrer a little behind those 4..

You mean to say you admire a Spanish player and his style of play? Thats so unlike you.

Saym fing innit?

Not really. Health & Safety are responsible for controlling things like asbestos and dioxins. Which I'm sure we'd all agree is a good thing (not "bloody health and safety, we used to bath in asbestos when I was a lad and it never did me any harm, bloody do-gooders").

Planning is Local Authority and won't be anything to do with safety.

My favourite tennis player is Feds by a mile.. He'd be the Barcelona of football, pure finesse, movement and easily the best technically the game has ever seen. Gasquet is another I like to watch, technically very good..

For what it's worth I don't like watching Nadal play, all brute power and lot's of running but with rare flashes of brilliance and wins a fair few by using defensive tactics and relying on opposition mistakes and also by simply overpowering better technical players.. Very similar to the Chelsea style under Mourinho..

They say that the safety of people getting home was part of the consideration.

My favourite was Pete Sampras, twas a sad day when he retired.

Federer gets too far up his own arse and it spoils him. I'd like him better if he wasn't a mard at times. It's the same with Nadal, I hate the way he struts about like a bloody peacock with that bloody orrible scowl on his face.

But for pure entertainment though, nobody can top Mac the brat 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

The commentators during the game said health and safety.

And I'm not an expert on Merton Council. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
