Cisse
No way should this let to be happen. They should suffer the consequenses not to be rewarded with the thing they have been after for ages. If the club is big enough they can get around anything, is this the message we are given ? Sucks. Catch 23
Another thing that springs to mind is: why Bury?
EastKentRam
I'm pretty sure that after the Wimbledon disaster happened rules were put in place to stop clubs being relocated.
CornwallRam
Buying Forest out would be cheaper, they might even get a full squad ready for next season I'm not sure that the people of Glasgow would want to be associated with anywhere as rough as Nottingham
ramexpat
Bury's directors have rubbished suggestions they could sell the club and give Rangers a route into English football. Newspaper reports on Thursday morning claimed new Ibrox owner Charles Green is preparing a bold plan to take over an English lower league club if the Gers are kicked out of the SPL next month. The plan would then apparently be for newco Rangershttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer to take up Bury's fixtures for the forthcoming campaign, while continuing to play their home games at Ibrox. Both Rangers and Celtichttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer have expressed an interest in switching south of the border in the past, but such a move would need the approval of the football authorities and has also not gone down well with Gigg Lane chiefs.http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer Integrity League One Bury insist they will not be the fall guys, according to a statement on the club's official website. It read: "Whilst investment into Bury Football Club is always welcome, any offer of investment will only be viewed at taking the club forward in its only one guise possible - based in the town of Bury, and as Bury Football Club. "Bury FC is a proud historical club, and as such proudly represents the town, community, people, and above all supporters of Bury. "The directors of Bury FC place the integrity and morality of the club, and football as a whole, way above and beyond any possible financial gain, and as such wish to reassure all Shakers fans of this fact." Uncertainty While Bury look forward to opening the season with a home game against Brentford,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer massive uncertainty continues to surround Rangers. Green will discover on 4th July whether his newco will be granted entry into the Scottish Premier League when the 12 member clubs - including oldco Rangers - meet to vote on the issue. An 8-4 majority is required. Reports have claimed the Scottish Football Leaguehttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer could be willing to accept Rangers into the Irn-Bru First Division - rather than the Third Division - in return for a revamp of the league structure that would eventually lead to a merger between the SPL and SFL. Green and his investors completed the purchase of the business and assets of Rangers last Thursday for £5.5million after failure to secure a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) in order to exit administration consigned the club to liquidation. McRamFan
This won't happen, it is Rangers trying to scare the small kids - let us back in the playground or I'll take my toys and find another one.

-JW-
Can they fold soon please? I'm getting bored of watching sky sports news everyday with Jim White giving us news from his sources trying to make it sound interesting.
Pearl Ram
Agreed JW, this Jim White delivers each Rangers breaking news story as if we think it matters, when will Sky realise that it only matters to a small percentage of viewers and give it the same airtime they would to a story concerning say Torquay or Chesterfield. StaffsRam
Could Rangers afford to buy Bury? A couple of magic beans would be a push for Rangers at this point surely! Agree with Sage, it's nothing more than noise made to try and force the upcoming vote in their favour.

StaffsRam
Wonder how Celtic will vote? Must be hard for them - 3/4 years of 50/50 title battles with Rangers, or 3/4 years of cast-iron/nailed-on/guaranteed league titles. It's going to make a mockery of Scottish football either way. Gaspode
if there is any truth in this idea, then both the English FA and the SFA should ban Charles Green from either buying Bury or resurrecting Rangers under the 'fit and proper person' rules - if he genuinely thinks he can rip Bury football club away from their home in order to get round the rules, he obviously isn't the sort of person that can be allowed to own any club......
