Parker missed the [url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17973106]2-0 win over Fulham - a victory which secured Spurs a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League. Redknapp said: "If it doesn't clear up he wouldn't be fit. "He is going to have an injection on it on Monday and they hope with six or seven days rest it will be OK." Redknapp added: "If he had to have an operation it would be long term, so we will have to wait and see how he is."
Mr Tibbs
Think he'll be a starter for us if he makes it so a big blow if this is to happen. Either way him or Barry will play the holding role and i'm much prefer Parker!
Ambitious
The day where fans get disappointed about an injury to a player of scott parkers ability. The national team is at the dogs 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> he shouldn't even be able to get anywhere near the airport with his ability never mind on the bleeding plane. blackNwhites
The national teams about the same quality it's always been. We've never been anything special. National pride used to motivate the squad quite a bit in the old days but there ain't a lot of that about anymore. Anyway, it was likely he'd be captain. I think I prefer Barry in that defensive midffield role anyway. Little bit more mobile and has been playing with the league champions this year. One of their regular starters. Footballing ability is pretty similar n'all. There's a few players looking like they miss out through injury, so I'd say Parker is a big loss. Rio might be out, that's 2 of the senior players you might actually want around the squad as opposed to Gerrard and Terry. Lampards got his doubters but he's a nice enough person, intelligent. Meh, squad might turn out to be youngsters after all.
blackNwhites
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18294160 England manager Roy Hodgson expects Scott Parker to be fully fit for the start of Euro 2012. Hodgson had been hit by a double injury blow having lost experienced midfield duo Gareth Barry and Frank Lampard. Parker joined up with the squad with an Achilles injury but is a starter for Saturday's friendly with Belgium. Hodgson said: "He is getting fitter by the day. We are happy by the time we play France [he] will be in good physical shape." There's a few rumours around the internet that he might not make it and that Adam Johnson could be his replacement. That'd be 3 central midfielders out, if he doesn't make it.
