Rampant Rob
Well thats screwed up our long term plan. Looks like we will carry on cutting our cloth accordingly whilst others will go for broke to reach the premiership.

G STAR RAM
You're surely not suggesting that he wanted prospective S/T renewers to think that it was a fait accompli? Please don't tell me that you think fans will make their decision on whether to buy a season ticket or not based on FFP coming in?!
AndyB
FFP has been used by the board to justify their setting of such a low budget while claiming we will still be able to compete near the top of the Championship. Fans want to believe we will compete. What do you think?
ramblur
Please don't tell me that you think fans will make their decision on whether to buy a season ticket or not based on FFP coming in?! Our whole strategy seems to have been based around FFP coming in next year, and that this was the reason for the wage cuts, and possible difficulties over a Green contract. For any waverers ,this might well be the final straw.I can't possibly think that Glick could have attended the PP meeting without knowing which way the wind was blowing at its conclusion. G STAR RAM
Surely the reason for the wage cuts is that we are losing money hand over fist? I thought signing up to FFP was an attempt to try and bring the game back into financial order. Also any 'fan' that bases that sort of decision on anything other than footballing reasons or personal financial reasons aren't worth worrying about anyway in my opinion. Fans may well have been deciding on football reasons,FFP being the straw that may break the camel's back.Your first point might have more validity if the owners had said that the primary motivation for cutbacks was that they didn't want (as others are doing) to continue to fund losses. However,we were continually told that this was something we must do to meet FFP requirements. I think the fact that our worst home result against any of the top 6 sides this season was a 1-0 loss shows that on our day we can compete against any team in this division. curb
The thought that football is going to turn away someone looking to pump millions into a club because it gives the club an unfair advantage over clubs that are skint is so preposterous it's comical. I can't believe anyone actually thinks this is going to happen.
G STAR RAM
Without FFP next season and with EPPP next season are we not like a boat without a paddle. I get the feeling of people cluching at straws. Wonder where this leaves the Plaza and players sales etc. Possibly but won't we be one of many boats without paddles?
