uttoxram75
Was the broken seat the reason for the filming or the result of it? (the away end, not mo55y's patio).

blackNwhites
I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, but there was a **** load of explosive sounds (balloons) on the radio after the game. Went on for ages, what was cracking off in there? Loud noises will annoy anybody, specially a hot headed orange or yellow coated person.

Eaglefoz
Palace fan here who was at the game on Saturday. Firstly, great stadium, does deserve some atmosphere though and I have seen that some of you are trying to create that. Best wishes for that. Secondly, yello jacketed stewards on the whole were great with one, maybe two exceptions. I have to say those I met were great ambassadors for your club and I thanked them after the match on the way out. I was on the opposite side to the trouble at the end though. The stewards in the different colour jackets were thugs. The worst type of football hooligan you can imagine. A disgrace to the club and game of football. I am not a football hooligan, I am a 49 year old dad of 3 boys, one of which is a policeman, another that works as a civvie for the met police. Never been in trouble in my life. Yes, I did object to being filmed and retorted by filming them back, they did not like that. One of cpfc owners was in with the crowd and was also disgusted with the stewarding. He has passed on complaints directly to your md/ CEO whatever. The FSF are on the case as well. Having said all that, thanks also to the many dcfc fans I met on the day, ending in the Brunswick and then the pub opposite the station, much appreciated the banter and the drinks, I did of course reciprocate with the drinks and the banter. I just hope that the mooted boycott of any match next year does not transpire over the stupid stewarding, your club and fans do not deserve it. Good luck the rest of the season, unless it is between you and us for a play off place naturally. Both unlikely though. Sorry, now edited to read does not transpire! Boycie
Ah! It's the first time I heard away fans singing in the Brunny. Obviously spoiling for a fight with the real ale lads 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Seriously though, all seemed fine? I did see a battle bus flying towards PP though at about 5.
Eaglefoz
Lovely ale in the brunswick. We posted a list of real ale pubs on a thread in the lead up to the match. My bet is most hoster a few palace supporters that day.
Eaglefoz
Finally, I did not see any trouble between fans during the day. It would have been the perfect away day if it was not for stupid thug stewarding.
RamOfKansas
Just be thankful you're not American. Heard the SuperBowl again had satellite surveillance all over the stadium, they'll be zooming in on that spot on your face from 45,000 km away. Don't like where this is going to be honest. Ha, you think that was all. It was a lot worse than that. [url=http://www.theblaze.com/stories/pictures-surface-of-a-sniper-nest-at-the-super-bowl-are-they-real/]http://www.theblaze.com/stories/pictures-surface-of-a-sniper-nest-at-the-super-bowl-are-they-real/ http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/super-bowl-sniper-2-620x434 I mean we're overzealous over the thought of terrorism/lone gunman but jesus ****** katy....there's a gun on the crowd! **** at least the worse you can find is student section at college games being taped. Considering the actions of some of those student sections it's probably for the best. Just glad it hasn't happened at K-State.
ERob
There are quite a few Palace fans with mobile footage that they are keeping under wraps for any court cases. If you look at the top picture here, http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=232100&page=7 this is clearly unacceptable.

ladyram
I'm shocked at those pictures, that's a frightening situation, especially so if there was no need for it. If a fan is causing trouble, I guess there must be a need for pysical intervention - but isn't there laws for using limited force? From the look on that young mans face, he looks very intimidated but if the steward had his arms on his arms, that would look more like restraint, that looks far more. Is there any need for him to have his hands around his throat like that? In my job, I have to keep any phyisical contact with the pupils in my care to an absolute minimum to ensure maximum safeguarding. I realise at a football match it is a different scenario and different rules may apply but surely there are still rules which says contact like putting your hand around someones throat must be used as an absolute last resort? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about this but in my opinion these pictures show heavy handedness on the stewards part and any actual footage of events before these pictures were took need to be looked at before clubs can conclude it was indeed ott. CCTV will have some, aswell as from whoever was filming the crowd too? I hope the Palace fans affected by this are ok because from the looks on their faces they look scared to death, as I would be. To me, it looks like assault and lets face it, fans can in no way retaliate or defend themselves without having a ban and charges brought against them - but if the stewards are dishing this kind of thing out, something needs to be done because it's simply wrong. I'll say what I said in an earlier post again - maybe it's the stewards who are the thugs here, not the fans.

Why do fat bullying stewards think its ok to pick on a few kids when its Palace, - a group of fans who, to my knowledge, have never caused any serious trouble at Derby - yet do fook all when larger, more aggressive groups come here. If there was any provocation whatsoever then DCFC should make a statement about it. If not then the stewards involved should be prosecuted, and if found guilty, fined and banned for life from football grounds.
