CumbrianRam
totally disgraceful batting performance again. Why do these players insist on playing stupid sweep shots when they are chasing a gettable total with bags of time? They are too thick to play intelligently!

rams71
any England batsman getting out playing that bloody stupid sweep shot should be fined his whole match fee. Graham Gooch could probably get more runs than Strauss at the minute
DissRam
Strauss should stay in. Pietersen should be dropped and should have been several years ago, never rated him. Still rate Bell though, just going through a bad patch, he'll hit some runs and form soon.

Strauss will stay in i agree about Pietersen being dropped,he plays for himself not the team Bell's a better player than Morgan so he'll stay in
Dangerous
Pieterson should be nowhere near the team.all he is interested in is himself
froggg
Pieterson should be nowhere near the team.all he is interested in is himself Nice 151 yesterday though... DissRam
Well he made me, Rams71 and Dangerous look like idiots but I still say drop him. No consistency. He'll go for a while without getting runs again now.
froggg
Not sure about that Diss, he has been too negative for me, he came out all guns blazing yesterday and destroyed them......
DissRam
I realise he's a good player. But how often will that really pay off? And can he adapt his game to suit the situation, an attacking mentality isn't always needed? But all credit to him, good knock yesterday.
Gary Teale
How people can have a go at him with a test average like he has is beyond me.
Dangerous
How people can have a go at him with a test average like he has is beyond me. quite easily really.one brilliant innings doesnt disguise several rubbish ones. The man isnt a team player,he only plays for himself. Butthead
did'nt Pieterson delivered major contributions to the drubbing of the previous No1 Test side last summer? fortunately those who select and coach the No1 Test side, won't drop KP after a minor blip in form..... rams71
Pieterson's a good player but he seems to lack the ability to play his game around the circumstances of the game. Like others have said he's not a team player and he's certainly no Ponting,Tendulkar,Richards,Border etc
Butthead
For info, KP's current Test average is 49.28, the highest of the current side.....
Gary Teale
quite easily really.one brilliant innings doesnt disguise several rubbish ones. The man isnt a team player,he only plays for himself. All players have bad matches and form but he is a class act, thats why he average is about 50, he has scored runs agaisnt the top side again and again. He doesnt play for himself, he just plays as he plays and to be honest when he comes out to defend he isnt half the player. The old england way would be chopping and changing now even though we are world No1, now as the aussies did have patience and not panic on the back of a few bad results.
