Keep praying? Thank the Lord? I know I just advised against religious debate but if the big guy upstairs with a beard is watching over this particular member of his flock then why let this happen in the first place? Maybe, with positive thinking,we can transfer the illness/ condition to the total f*cking ******** that shot 2 kids dead outside a school in France this morning?

Sadly a teacher and three kids according to skynews.

Sadly a teacher and three kids according to skynews.

There is not a punishment horrible enough for this sick, murderous coward. He is also suspected of shooting 2 soldiers yesterday and is still at large.

Anyway, going off topic now. Has anything been said about when they are going to start trying to bring Muamba out of his sedation?

Fabrice Muamba

has spoken "minimal words" to a friend as he recovers from a cardiac arrest in hospital, according to a report.

The Associated Press cites a friend of Muamba's as saying the [url=

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/bolton-wanderers/]Bolton Wanderersmidfielder has spoken briefly in English and French, hours after his club announced that he was "showing small signs of improvement" and moving his limbs.

The midfielder was taken to the London Chest Hospital on Saturday night after collapsing on the pitch during the first half of an FA Cup tie against [url=

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/tottenham-hotspur/]Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

Muamba underwent several minutes of CPR and defibrillation on the pitch and his heart stopped beating on its own for two hours before his arrival at the hospital.

However, while the 23-year-old remains in intensive care, Muamba's heart is beating without the aid of medication and he is also moving his limbs.

A Bolton statement read: "His heart is now beating without the help of medication and he is also moving his arms and his legs.

"However, his long-term prognosis will remain unclear for some time. He is still critically ill and will continue to be closely monitored and treated by staff in the London Chest Hospital's intensive care unit."

Speaking prior to Bolton's most recent statement, manager [url=

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/owen-coyle.html]Owen Coyle said on Monday: "Today's a day that we wait and hope for continued improvement.

"We are all after the same objective; to see that lovely young man, who has such a fantastic smile. That's what we want to see again.

"When you look through what he's come through in his life already, he's a natural fighter. Also, he's a physically fit young man so I think those two things will be a source of help and encouragement."

Bolton's Premier League match at [url=

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/aston-villa/]Aston Villa on Tuesday has been postponed and Blackburn say they will call off Saturday's fixture if requested to do so by the Trotters.

The FA Cup sixth-round tie with Spurs must also be rearranged.

RE praying - I don't think anyone believes praying will save Muamba, most if not all Christians don't believe in that sort of God.

But studies show that patients who are prayed for recover quicker and better. It's the effect of being cared for and knowing you're being thought about which seems to spur people on.

As Muamba wakes up and gains a sense of the support this country and beyond has given to his recovery, it's got to give him an extra sense of purpose, hasn't it?
