vicky-27
Bobby is Hungary for more success! Thursday 14 May 2009 http://therams.co.uk/pictures/3293/main/newdavison2?1242254707 Former Derby County striker Bobby Davison hopes his success with Ferencvaros this season will open the door for a return to English football in the future. Davison, who is enjoying his time in Hungary, is celebrating a title-winning triumph. The 49-year-old has steered the Hungarian giants back to the top flight of their domestic league and the Green Eagles clinched the championship with a 14th straight win. Ferencvaros, 28 times champions of Hungary and cup winners on 20 occasions, fell on difficult times a few years ago and were relegated. Sheffield United took over the ailing club in February last year and installed Davison as an advisory coach. He became head coach a couple of months later and has delivered success in his first full season in charge. “The aim was to get this big football club back into the top division in Hungary,†he said. "People have been trying for three or four years. "Ferencvaros in the second division in Hungary is like seeing Manchester United or one of the English football’s biggest Premier League clubs in the Championship. "Every game is like an FA Cup final for us because of the size of the club.
