derbydan
Clough has dismissed a report in a national newspaper linking Derby with a move for 19-year-old Everton striker Conor McAleny, who is available on a free transfer at the end of the season. "That's a new one on me," said Clough.
randombc
To be fair Clough usually does admit if he is interested, by saing 'he is one we've looked at' unless the competition is high, which you would assume so, giving that Southampton are after him, you'd imagine 4 or 5 others are aswell. Maybe he's playing his cards close to his chest. Denying it on twitter - because footballers never lie 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
randombc
Maybe he's got to take a stap back to take some steps forward, of he's young, the best place he could come is to us where we give kids a go.
Luke
We were found out slightly last summer by making our targets too public. Also saying we are interested in a kid released by Everton may not do the confidence of our current strikers too much good
Boycie
The last kid we had from Everton ended up broken while playing here. Then Everton screwed us over. Down with the toffee chewing scouse munchers.

Also saying we are interested in a kid released by Everton may not do the confidence of our current strikers too much good Could make them train harder and improve- depends what they are made of. Every transfer window one manager says they are interested in a player whilst their current club denies that there has been any interest. Nothing comes of it and I have often thought that it was all engineered to put the wind up the players that are already there.

Shogun
Everton fan here. Looks a decent little player. Reminds me a bit off michael Owen the way he plays. Don't want us to sell him. Going out on loan should help his development.
DCFC4_LIFE
If we could get him on a free that'd be good but, in my opinion we've got to many strikers.
