This part of the big plan as we can develop a team/squad who want to play for Derby and one that is not containing players who have a couple of seasons left like Taylor and Savage. It will be a squad that will be here for years to come. What is the problem with this if any as long as the experience players like Shackell, Barker and by then Fielding, Bailey, Brayford, Bryson etc are still around to help them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it's important that these players have mentors in the senior team, like Shackell was with O'Brien, Bryson is with Hendrick, and I'm sure Barker/Shackell/Brayford will be with Naylor.
