froggg
Am on the Fosters Gold now, bought it other week on offer and now keep on buying it. Stella, my old faithful, is going down to 4.8% soon, not happy but the wife is delighted. Funny you should say that Billy, but coming back from Southampton on the train on saturday, whilst clearing the empty stella cans off me seat I noticed it was 4.8%.....the original from Belgium being a brain shrinking 5.2% 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

uttoxram75
What about this bad boy! Opening it was a nightmare and usually led to a beer sprayed ceiling. Absolutely the worst tasting beer of all time. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/01/16/article-0-07E04032000005DC-50_233x405

froggg
I can remember watching footie on a sunday afternoon at me grandmas, must have been ITV because they had adverts. I used to love the Davenports one, with the lyrics at the bottom of the screen and a ball bouncing along them. Beer at home means Davenports, That's the beer, lots of cheer..... Or have I dreamt that? No you didn't dream it http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nRV7w6DUWZY/TPPlbaRy3RI/AAAAAAAAACY/rxyTfhuCxQU/s1600/DSC08424

Out of interest you sampled this beer Froggy, I know you're into your real ales http://www.realaleinfo.com/beers/view/2082 One of my favourites. Cloughie's pride sold in Victoria Inn is one I need to try http://www.derventiobrewery.co.uk/ - nice little website for keeping up to date with some local Derbyshire beers. RamOfKansas
When I drink beer, this is about all I drink. We got shitty beers in America afterall...http://coasttocoastbeers.com/images/shiner/Shiner_Bock A German Dark Beer from the Heart of Texas. I enjoy all the Shiners out there but I won't say no to a Boulevard or Tallgrass Ale. Both quality local beers.
trekkie_ram
Do they still do Carling Premiere? It was around when Carling sponsored the prem, it's a smooth lager and delicious. I tend to drink Guiness if I'm in a pub having a meal/casual pint, or Corona if I'm out late at night.
