Don't get me wrong, I like going to railway museums. I went to the one in York on Friday and I found it fascinating 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> but train spotting just goes too far. I don't think train spotters tend to have a wife or have any friends apart from other fellow train spotters 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I do sometimes sit and watch trains 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />.. It's interesting for me, where they're going and etc.. Planes are even cooler. 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />. If someone wants to do something they love let em do it

Train spotting is one thing and if locomotives and the like float yer boat, that's fine. There are other hobbies, like...wait for it.... container ship spotting! (According to google anyroad)

Now that's rivetting stuff - wait for hours on a cold, windy rocky shore and have yer binoculaurs ready 'http://www.dcfcfans.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> wonder if anyone spotted this?
