EastKentRam Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 Have had this conversation loads of times and after a lot of thought i dont think i'd actually want to win a huge sum of money, not at my age any way. I'd have nothing stopping me doing everything i want to do, so therefore after a few years have nothing to look forward to. My main hobbie/love is gambling, i'd have no need to do that any more. Looking forward to things keeps people going, all the things i enjoy doing i could do whenever i wanted. I kind of imagine it being like when Del boy finally becomes a millionnaire, he becomes bored, he loved the chase of trying to get there and when he finally does, he doesnt know what to do next. Top of the list for purchases for the club would have to be a couple of snow ploughs and a thousand tonnes of rock salt. I'm sure I could get by on the other £50m, I might even buy the missus a new coat, shoes and handbag. For myself, it wouldn't be an exec box at pride park as I'd still want to sit with all the regular STHs and have the same match day banter, so I'd go for a nice villa in the Canaries to enjoy in the summer and another property in Derby to stay in on match days, to save on the travelling.
