What financially is in it for Derby?

That is what the Yanks will ask.

I'm sure that is exactly what they are thinking. One thing I believe should be considered is how many points more we could get during the season if we had one of the most vocal home crowds intimidating away teams and manipulating refs. A good home crowd would be able to earn odd free kick or penalty here and there and perhaps a few cards too against opposite players.

I think Nick is doing valuable work for the club and everybody should try to think ways to make things better at Pride Park. I never got to visit Baseball Ground but I think Pride Park is fine stadium. I've visited several stadiums in England I believe we should be proud of Pride Park. Now let's just get behind the lads at games.

How far down the East Stand and how far across the South Stand will the away fans be accommodated for say 4000. Will a wall be built across the concourse and which way will the away fans be escorted. Just asking.

If it costs money curtains and this proposed move will, I have a feeling the board are going to say nay and come up with some plausable excuse reason.

I'd love to know if the club has any money put aside for this kind of occurence or is that just me wishful thinking going into overdrive? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I hope Nick and us lot who've signed will get a positive response from this, it would benefit everyone, including DCFC if customers who stopped going to PP for whatever reason may be tempted into coming back.

Could not agree more!! Not about me but about the crowd making a difference!!

. I will sign it as in essence its a good idea.

That's the spirit! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Ya know campers - in an ideal world - none of this cost business would be an issue. Can't every bugger just swap sections, use the same facilities and have a handshake instead of a scrap? Thing is Derby doesnt have a problem with scrapping yet certain officials seem to think that there must be such a large gap between away fans.

You see then what happens is that the police will talk to each other all game, along with the senior stewards.... Then for big games the police will then get there cameras out for a bit, film, then hide and film again...... Then deny hiding....

All true above.

Shame is as fans WE are paying for that. Other clubs utilise them well by them being the segregation between home and away fans.

IMO that's how it should be done - it seems that there's a few killjoys at DC just waiting to put the kibosh on owt.

I'm not against it at all and I wish you well in your attempts but just be aware the Club will have to address crowd safety issues. You will need to answer questions like this. Ie Segregation etc

Nick won't have to answer anything. If enough fans want it the club will do it. Other clubs manage segregation with similar set ups.

. I've signed it but there will be 2 lots of segregation from East Stand to South Stand and South to East plus concourse segregation. But it would improve atmosphere no doubt. I would think Nick will have to negotiate with the Club though.

Don't worry about segregation, its just logistics.

If they say anything about safety then i'd like to know if it was safe against Swansea the other year when they all decided to try and kick off on their way back to the coaches the other side of Derby fans.

It could be the same set up as Leicester. How much crowd trouble to they get?

It'll be safer not having away fans wandering past the SE corner to their coaches. There's no good reason to reject the petition.
