What is the best Rams game you ever went to and why?

Good to hear that it is possible to be positive in the face of a huge defeat. A friend of mine went to the 7-1 defeat at Anfield in the early 90s. The fans who went were amused to hear someone say that Radio Derby's number should be changed from Derby 616161 to Derby 717171. Perhaps someone can find a positive from yesterday,s 4-0 defeat at Southampton. Ladyram's husband was there, perhaps he can think of one! I've asked him Steve and and what he said I can't really repeat. Something along the lines of Well that was absolute ********* ********* *** **** ****** sh1te ********* team ******* 4 ********** goals ******* in.

A thrilling 2-2 draw against Man Utd in 2002, the season we were relegated from the Premiership.

We were robbed. It should have been 3-2 after Branko snatched a late winner when Barthez spilled it. But it was disallowed by Steve Dunn. A typical favour gifted to Man Utd. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/angry' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

It was a thrilling game though.

Got to be home game against Palace september 2010. After a difficult start to the season we won 5-0. Even Shefki scored. Don't expect to see as many Derby goals in four days any time soon.

Same game for me. One of only three matches I've ever taken my girlfriend to (the other two were the 0-0 at Sheffield Wednesday two seasons ago, and the defeat at Coventry in September), and what a game to watch! Brayford was outstanding, the best performance in a Derby shirt I had seen for ages.

Derby 2 Arsenal 1 - It was the year they beat Liverpool in the final game of the season. They'd gone 0-1 up, Nigel Callaghan equalised for us, and then Phil Gee scored an absolute screamer to make it 2-1

This for me too.

But,

The play off semi at home obviously, but I was only a teenager back When we beat arsenal.

On a personal level, it was the Derby 0-5 Arsenal game during our ill-fated premiership season. Having been born in London and raised surrounded by fecking Arsenal fans constantly asking "who d'you really support?", "why d'you support Derby?","why don't you support a real team?" and stating "we don't care what you think, you don't support a premiership team", the fact that we brought so many to their fecking spaceship of a stadium and never stopped singing even though we were getting battered pointed out an important message to most of my mates, and indeed all fecking Arsenal fans. Your club is pathetic, your league is pathetic, your behemoth of a stadium is pathetic and, most of all, you fecking barstewards are the worst fans that i've ever come across.

One of my favourite memories ever is that of all our fans standing, singing "we are derby" at 4-0 down. They scored their 5th, we carried on singing and they looked confused and sat down again as we carried on.

Screw it, I'm coming clean, I hate them more than forest.

Great points the (or whatever your name is!! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> If we all fell in love only with a gal for her looks then we'd be disappointed because Angelina & Catherine Zeta are spoken for and there's not much chance with Pippa either. Derby aren't the best team in the world. If that was the only basis for lifelong support then at the moment we'd all be on the Barca fans site. It's what a team or a lady means to us personally that counts, for better or worse. There are lots of bad times as well as brilliant times. So carry on singing....and not just when you're winning!
