Then straight from the kickoff a lovely tackle from Brayford, who breaks forward, crossing in for a late run from Bryson who cracks it in the half volley. At least we've brought out positives to bring home for Sunday, disappointed about the result but happy that we haven't gone without a wimper! We lack physical presence throughout Sorry but he wasn't there second half and we pressed a lot better as a team and performed better, of addison can't get near our side or barnsleys as he sadly is big lump. One big player doesn't make you press the ball you need to do it as a team. Barca are the shining light in this, they have no big players but press as a team. We don't look like a team that if things are not going our way we can grind out results. The sequence of clean sheets has been mostly down to the chances our opponents have missed rather than great defending. When was the last time we beat someone and you thought yes we were the better team from start to finish and deserved the win? Portsmouth at pp. our squad is not good enough to compete in a long season for the play offs but I'm ok with that at the moment. The lads work hard for each other and you can't ask for more than that. Barca have players that can play too and can do one touch passing. I jus think that we should go back to 4231 with Addison and bailey in the holding mid role. He's perfect for it. Sheffieldram1982 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Why did Clough start Carroll and Noble tonight? Injury problems. Might be harsh but both looked like boys playing against men. Both urgently need to get in the gym, very lightweight! Poor old Shackell had a stinker and looked very awkward all game, Brayford deserves a slap for the penalty, Tyson looked by way most dangerous player when he came on.
