Carlos was doing a line of ‘ white powder ‘ on the expectation of being on stage in the evening but due to others not being able to get there on time suddenly found himself on stage completely whacked. Bob Dylan also turned it down as he was offered the Isle of Wight and had an obsession with Tennyson. He was offered the week in his old house Farringford as part of his contract. The house then got rented out to someone else as the organisers delayed paying the rental charge and they fooled him into staying at another place passing it off as Tennysons old house .
