You could see enough vs West Ham and the dirties to see why we signed him, and be quite excited by the prospect.

Just about resigned to the fact that he's a raspberry though.

I would say the surgery he had and the surgeon himseld have some kind of responsibility as the surgeon would have given the all clear to train.

But remember this Gerrard out for 6 months with groin injury then brought back at 20 mins or so for first 4 games. Due to the injuries he had to play straight away. Davies was out, theo coming back of hamstring strain, maguire not cutting it. We had been playing Bennett due to the shortages.

Our situation at the time did not help

If we are a couple of points off 5th place without him I don't see the need to be so scathing about him. He has enough about him to be an asset to our side and was well worth bringing on board when he passed his medical. To me having him in the wings, especially now we have Noble also vailable, will be like a new January signing.
