But remember this Gerrard out for 6 months with groin injury then brought back at 20 mins or so for first 4 games. Due to the injuries he had to play straight away. Davies was out, theo coming back of hamstring strain, maguire not cutting it. We had been playing Bennett due to the shortages. He has enough about him to be an asset to our side and was well worth bringing on board when he passed his medical.
