Thats the bit that let your post down.... 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

He don't seem to be doing to well at the moment but his record in the lower leagues is superb, vastly superior to NC's at Burton during a similar period.

He took Cheltenham from the Southern Prem to League 1 in 5 years.

That lower league experience should come in handy soon.

Clough only agreed to extend his contract if all his coaching stuff were also renewed. All his coaching staff are friends of his and people he has worked with and trusts. This Ross Wilson fella would be coming in as an outsider thats the first thing. Not Cloughs style. No Clough connection with Falkirk. Also this would be a job with a decent wage otherwise he would stay in his current job where he has done well.

"The Americans at the end of the day own the Club and should take the right decisions for the supporters."

its debatable whether this has been seen yet or not

I'm not sure they are that bothered? They make the right decisions for themselves, not us!!!

That could be the sticky point as this means less money for players and probably feels let down when he has asked for players and not got them due to financial contraints i.e. Salmon

He was singing Glick's praises on Radio Derby, saying that everyone at the club has a huge amount of respect for the amount of work he puts in day in day out working his ass off, and he has never had an altercation with him before.

Rumours that Tom Glick conducted that interview himself are untrue may i add.

It says pretty much the same thing in todays DT too JW. Clough says talk of this 'collision with Glick is over the top'. That's fine then - but it's not really a denial either. Watch this space...

The Watford Observer understands Derby County’s pursuit of Ross Wilson has ended after the Hornets' football business director indicated to the Rams that he sees his future at Vicarage Road.

Watford's Harefield Academy was a big attraction for Wilson when he arrived last summer and with the Scot heavily involved in the club’s preparatory work for their EPPP proposals, alongside head of Academy Nick Cox, a move away from the club so soon after his arrival always seemed unlikely.

Derby have made it clear they are looking to strengthen their football business operations, however Rams’ boss Nigel Clough is said to be unhappy about a proposed role.

Wilson has been linked with the Derby post on a few occasions in recent months, with the Daily Mirror this week claiming the Championship club hoped to secure the former Falkirk man before the end of the season.
