Well to be fair, that's all he's been told to do then. Just keep playing and trying to score. Nige will like that, him doing what he's told.

Lay off him, all the critics on here would love to be in his position.

Ignore them Callum, you sound like a proud young man who is really enjoying his chance.

I read a lot of posts on here, and think the authors must be thick.

Absolutely right. Why do we need our centre forward to become a great orator? Let him speak through his performances on the pitch. His goals are a little more important than his post match interviews. Unless we're joining a debating society league, of course, in which case we need to drop him immediately and replace with Stephen Fry.

Having listened to it - he sounds more young and inexperienced than totally thick.

Also he was clearly very excited about having scored a tidy goal which turned out to be the winner.

I spoke to him after the game yesterday whilst my nipper was getting his autograph. I complimented him on his goal and said three of them against Stoke would be nice. He smiled and said "we need to keep this good run going" So maybe he's only done the cliche part of the media course so far!

Someone asked Greeny if he was staying and he said he'd like to.

He's got the optimism of youth - which I hope he keeps as he gets older. I liked his interview, it was upbeat and positive. Good on ya Callum. If his outlook is onwards and upwards that can only be a good thing.
