This thread is dedicated to those moments when life kicks you up the arse and as a result leaves you feeling proper pissed off. I had such a day yesterday and I want to have a rant about it. They say bad luck comes in 3's and for me, it's true and all 3 things happened in the space of 2 hours. So, 1. Dav came in from work and told me he'd lost his wedding ring. To be fair to a very apologetic Dav bless him, he's lost a bit of weight and on more than 1 occassion it's slipped off his finger. Gutted. Anyone who reads my ramblings on here will know how much I love coffee and my prized coffee jug which Dav got me for Chrimble got smashed. As you campers know, we haven't lived here for that long and it took a while for the kids to make new freinds and get really settled. Well, one of my daughter's "freinds" came to our house last night, so I let her in and sent her upstairs to where she was, listening to her sounds in her room. Anyways, it turns out she tried to nick some of our daughter's money what she keeps stashed in her room. My daughter saw one of her money bags (with Yorkshire Bank and assorted graffitti on them) in her bag. They were deffo hers, she's had em for yonks. Day Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Yesterday I embarked on a mission to upgrade the server and made a cock up which had me up until 2am fixing, I then wake and realise that this board has never taken off despite been top of the search engines and that it is impossible to get good intelligent debate going on here. If it's been lost at the school where Dav is working and a pupil picks it up, I like to think they'd hand it in but more likely they'll flog it. Well, my daughter doesn't want me to say owt in case it causes a problem that could spill over into school life, so I won't. She didn't say owt until after she'd gone because she knows I would have said something to her. I wouldn't have said or done owt bad but I would have had to say summat. Next time she comes she aint getting past the doorstep. She wears top end gear too, well turned out and all that.
