Have any of you done work, socialised, or are personal friends of any of the staff at Derby County..

past or present ?

I was Kenny Burns' doubles partner in local darts team when I unfortunately lived at Tamworth.

Obviously, now living in Swad area, Jeff Bourne was landlord of my local pub, he's a good friend too.

In the late nineties (probably 1996) I worked at Jim Smiths house in Barton (only met his missus tho).

Hi Mo55y - ya'd better ask Ianm. He knows everyone and everything there is to know at PP, from how many empty seats there are, what the stewards name is who's standing in the opposite corner with his back to everybody, to how many sugars Barbara has in her half time cuppa.

As for me, I only know the really nice steward who stands at the bottom of the NE corner stairwell 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> lovely chap he is too.

I got a few...

I live about 4 minutes away(walk) from Kenny Burns and about 2 minutes walk from Gary Hamson.

Work with Matt Dukes brother in law... Work with Stephen Warnocks 2nd cousin.

I have a friend or two that work at the club..

and once on a night out ended up getting drinks brought for me and in the VIP lounge with Addison, Connolly, Pearson, Leacock, Barker and Green. I spoke to Barker through a lot of it, talks an awful lot of sense for a Footballer, turns out I know a few of his brothers as well!

It was late 80's ,went down to get some autographs at the bbg after the game ( derby vs liverpool ) when the entire liverpool team walked straight past me without signing a thing....... Not to worry though Fat Tosh was there and he gave me his...... almost memorable !!!!!

On a flight back from Germany last summer, had some lanky git with his knees in my back for half the flight. Eventually turned round to give him the ol' stinkeye and it was none other than Sotirios Kyrgiakos (then of Liverpool, but presumably on his way back from Wolfsburg). Right grumpy looking oaf.

Anyway, not Rams specific but a good spot nonetheless

Also, Ted McMinn lives (lived?) in the same village as my folks, where I grew up. Saw him a few times in the local.

Haha Nah, I sometimes see him in there from time to time.. Brian Clough also used to drink in one of our locals but well before my time, Came to watch us play football a few times on a sunday, and even paid compliments to the team which was pleasing..

What pub did/does he have?

Best I can do is that Tony Parry used to empty our dustbins and I went to school with his lad (Dean, as I recall).
