NothernRam
Good chance for Ball on saturday as Priskin unavailable and Theo out injured again. A poor tackle from a Belper Town player saw Theo play-on but later had to be substituted. The injury this time was thought to be groin related and may see Theo's return to first team duty put on hold...

CumbrianRam
CALLUM Ball has shown he is taking on board what manager Nigel Clough is asking of him. Clough called on the 19-year-old striker to put himself about a bit more and use his strength to greater effect and he did against Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Ball's performance in the Rams' defeat was not only praised by Clough but also by Ipswich manager Paul Jewell, the former Rams boss. "Callum Ball, I think he's only 18 or 19, played with unbelievable enthusiasm," said Jewell. "We have got two centre-halves (Danny Collins and Ibrahima Sonko) who have played a lot of football but the lad Ball does not care about reputations. He puts himself about." With Ball listening and learning and leading scorer Theo Robinson and Nathan Tyson back on the pitch after injuries, it can only be good news. http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/Ex-boss-Jewell-joins-praise-Rams-striker-Ball/story-14189435-detail/story.html
-JW-
If Jewell rates him then he hasn't got a good future ahead of him 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
