Derby_Dave
What the hell. So do I. Is it the same fans that did not want Commons but want Tyson? Otherwise it is a pretty bizarre statement.
Ambitious
Tyson disregarding previous stats has always caused us massive problems, and we've had no idea how to deal with him. I used to dread the thought of any of our players marking him, Brayford said it was the hardest game of his career marking Tyson. I really hope he can be a success, he certainly has the backing of his management and team-mates who seem eager to get him in the team, it's a shame that some braindead fans already have their mind made up! jagerbob
He's already not a favourite of mine. Not because of his forest links, but because we got him good money on a 3 year contract yet he cant seem to get fit. It has to be one of my biggest frustrations over the years at Derby, waiting and hoping that injury prone players can turn the corner but often they can't. I really really don't know why we signed him. I like to think that playrs like green and barker were just unlikely with their one big injury that now after an operation and substantial time out, they can now stay fit for a long time. But the Strupar's, Riggotts, Stephen Pearsons, Steve Davies, and Nathan Tysons, you just now if they do get fit the next injury will just be a couple of games away! Dangerous
I wanted Commons but was concerned about his fitness.I didnt want Tyson because he doesnt score enough goals and he is always injured. But weve had 24 minutes out of him so far this season so he is a roaring success. -JW-
There are always doubters for every signing we make, i remember a lot of people being sceptical when we signed bailey and Brayford but they turned out alreet. If he proves himself on the pitch and scores the winner against forest then 99% of the fans will love him.

Wilko
To our wage bill he has. Is there any evidence that he is on large wages? He suffered a groin injury which has, unfortunately, proven to be a lot more serious than previously thought. One of those things. He's constantly been a threat whenever we have played Forest and I genuinely cannot wait to see him play up front with Theo. That pace would frighten any defence in this league. My only worry is that Clough will rush him back as he did with Brayford
-JW-
No evidence but he was our 'marquee' signing and there was interest from other clubs reportedly, so i would imagine he will be the highest earner of cloughs signings.

trooper
When we signed him I didn't want him, even told this to Gluck on the train to palace last season, arrogant tosspot who is pudding and always injured, hate him after the flag incident and not sure I am 2faced enough to call him every name under the sun to start singing his name!! For that to happen he NEEDS to score against f****t and have a mad celebration!! BUT I have found out he does lots of charity work so for that reason the bloke has gone up a lot in my estimations!!! Respect for that!! Commons won me over with his winner in fa cup away at them and savage never won me over! Will allow tyson this first season then decide if he still a pancake tosser or not

Kamikaze
I think people need to stop worrying whether players will get a good reception or not, I just want them to play well (or at least play!)
Alph
Wanted Commons. Rated him at Forest. Dont want Tyson, only ever seen him play really well against us. Hope he can prove me wrong. That'll mean Derby profit.
Alph
iirc he roasted brayford at PP when earnshaw scored winner He did indeed. Nobody has beaten Brayford in a head to head so often in a match as Tyson. He is/was ridiculously quick.

CumbrianRam
The difference between Commons and Tyson was that Commons was thier best player and Tyson well ............. wasn't.
